February is all about your heart and love! So make sure to you take care of your heart and love your body by fueling it with all foods and engaging in fun movement. Heart healthy foods such as raspberries and chocolate are great way to celebrate any day. Raspberries not only add color and sweetness, but also, a ton of anthocyanins and fiber which have been shown to decrease your chances of developing heart disease and certain cancers. And, the antioxidants and flavonoids found in dark chocolate have been shown to reduce blood pressure and improve blood flow resulting in better vascular health. Plus, allowing yourself to eat all foods, including chocolate, has been shown to lead to less overeating/bingeing, easier weight management and more satisfaction.
