It’s time to rethink cottage cheese. What was once thought of as “diet” food is actually just as healthy as most yogurts and even healthier than others. Selecting 2% cottage cheese will give you less sugar and fat, more protein and a significant amount of B vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and selenium. If it’s texture is an issue, you can whip it to make it more like a spread.
