Craving something sweet after dinner could be caused by: too much salt or simple carbs, dehydration or eating too fast. But, it's probably an automatic response that can be helped mindful eating.

A vanilla caked with pecans, chocolate chips and just a little maple syrup ready in less than 2 minutes equals heaven on earth.

Mug cakes are great because not only are you making one serving, but you mix it in the mug and cook it in the microwave so it is fast and easy. Pecans are a good source of vitamin B6 which helps to access the energy in our food.
