Our pediatrician recommended that we give Whole Milk to our 2 year old. I wanted to confirm that this is healthy?

Children under the age of two should only be given whole milk, provided there is no allergy, as they need the fat for growth and brain development. After the age of two, 2% milk can be given as long as the child has a good appetite and is growing normally.

If your child is active and has a well-balanced diet, I would recommend whole milk until four years of age and then switch to 2%.
