HEALTHSOUP collects personal information (such as your name, e-mail address, photo, mailing address and other contact information) when you register for a HEALTHSOUP account and when you submit information pertaining to features of the Website/ Mobile App (such as following a contributor for purposes of sending you a Weekly Digest bulletin by e-mail).
HEALTHSOUP collects personal information (such as your Health Goal and Weight), in order to provide you with relevant tips and advice from nutritionists.
HEALTHSOUP collects user Content such as photos, accompanying narrative copy, video and musical compositions and other materials that users post at the Website/Mobile App. Such Content also may contain attribution information (such as photo credit submitted by a user who posts a photograph, video or artwork).
HEALTHSOUP collects comments submitted by users who submit them to the Website/ Mobile App.
When you navigate the Website/ Mobile App, we collect your IP address.
If you send e-mail to the Website/ Mobile App, HEALTHSOUP collects your e-mail address and name, as well as any information contained in the “subject” line or text of the e-mail message. If you copy other persons on such e-mail submission, we collect the e-mail address and name of such copy recipients.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Notice: HEALTHSOUP does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen. This Service and its content are not directed to children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as reasonably possible.
Your log-in information is automatically reported by your web browser each time you make a request to access a web page and may also be reported when the content of the webpage is downloaded to your browser. When you use HEALTHSOUP’s Service, our servers automatically record some of your log-in information (including your web request), your IP address, your browser type, any referring websites/URL’s, the number of clicks you implemented on the Website/ Mobile App, what pages you viewed and other such information. This information helps us improve the Service and more accurately provide it to you.
HEALTHSOUP uses your Personal Information to authenticate your access and use of the Website; to respond to your e-mail inquiries (when we deem such response to be appropriate); to send you notices about changes to the Website; and to manage and improve the Website to optimize our products and services.
We may also use your Personal Information (such as search terms) to optimize our exposure and availability on external web search engines such as Google®.
HEALTHSOUP does not currently share, sell, rent, lend or give Personal Information you provide us to any third party.
HEALTHSOUP stores Personal Information using generally accepted encryption and data-storage technology. We cannot guarantee that any information is totally secure. We are not responsible for intercepted information sent via electronic means, including e-mail or e-commerce transactions. You hereby release HEALTHSOUP, and its officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents and assigns, from any and all claims, costs or expenses arising out of or relating to the use of information intercepted in an unauthorized manner.
Notice to California Residents: HEALTHSOUP does not currently maintain a process for individuals who use or visit the Website to review and request changes to any of their personally identifiable information collected through the Website.

On the HealthSoup Mobile App we store the user's session information using the mobile device's secure storage. This enables the user to automatically login when the App is re-opened in the future.
We may collect non-personally identifiable information about how users of the Website/ Mobile App (like you) navigate to and through the Website/ Mobile App, including the number of visits to the Website/ Mobile App and specific pages visited while at the Website/ Mobile App and the IP addresses of those visitors to the Website/ Mobile App. We may aggregate this statistical information and use it to help us administer and to enhance the Website/ Mobile App and for research and development, user analysis and business decision-making. These aggregate statistics also may be provided to our marketing affiliates for use in our marketing or advertising activities and/or to assist service providers in connection with the taking or processing of orders or maintain operation of the Website/ Mobile App.
